About the event
Instructor bio: Hi, I'm Ben Guest. I am an actor, voiceover artist, and improv teacher. I am also a huge nerd and fan of TTRPGs. I have been playing D&D and other RPGs for over 10 years and have been GMing for the last 5. I went to college for acting and voiceover, I have been studying improv for over 15 years, and have been a professional improv teacher for over a year. My classes are fun, welcoming, and a great place to make new friends.
In this workshop we will cover how to describe and narrate the world around your PCs to immerse your players, create and play compelling NPCs, run fun cinematic combat, and craft engaging adventures with mysteries to explore and obstacles to overcome. GMing can be intimidating. That is why we will learn each skill involved in little chunks step by step. By the end, you will be able to sit behind that GM screen with confidence.
